The APTC has proposed a route traveling from the northern terminus of The New England Trail through New Hampshire to connect with The Long Trail. This is an excellent opportunity for farther conservation in this region.

Vermont’s Long Trail follows the main ridge of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts-Vermont line to the Canadian border.
