More scouting is required in Washington to determine the best conservation corridor. Namely we are investigating connecting the Oregon coast north through Washington to The Olympic National Park. Consider Volunteering as a scout for The APTConference. In the meantime the APT roughly follows The Pacific Northwest Trail and The Pacific Crest Trail. Some recreationalist choose to carry bear spray in Northern Washington due to its Grizzly population.
